For children in PreK-Grade 6 this coming school year

"Jesus Christ, God's Son, Savior"
St. Paul said that he would rather speak five words of understanding than 10,000 words in a tongue no one understood. This year’s VBS at Mount Olive will teach the five words of the ICQUS (“Ick-Thoos”).
What is the ICQUS? ICQUS is the Greek word for fish. Early Christians used the fish symbol because the five letters that spell out ICQUS are also the first letters of the bold proclamation, “Jesus Christ, God’s Son, Savior.”
Vacation Bible School at Mount Olive this year will explore with the children what these simple words tell us about who Jesus is and what He has done for us. Children will leave this program knowing that Jesus saves them from their sins and prepared to share their faith with others with just Five Words of Understanding.
Children entering Preschool through 6th grade this Fall are invited to come learn -- and have fun doing it! Vacation Bible School will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, June 22-26. The children will also sing in church on Sunday morning, June 28.
There is no cost to attend Mount Olive’s VBS, but we ask that children be registered for planning and safety purposes.
